Canon has announced the EOS 50D (26 August’08), a big brother-model of the EOS 40D. The camera features 15.0 million effective pixels, DIGIC 4 Image processor, Video Out with HDMI Connection, 4 levels noise reduction, ISO 100-12800, 6.3 fps, Live view, and a 3″ LCD screen with 920,000 dots making it effectively a VGA standard monitor.
